The Process

Crafted with Intention

Shade Grown
01

Shade Grown

Tea plants are shaded for 20–30 days before harvest, boosting chlorophyll and amino acids to create that signature emerald color and umami depth.

Hand Picked
02

Carefully Harvested

Only the finest tender leaves are harvested by precision machinery at dawn, ensuring peak freshness and preserving the delicate flavor profile.

Stone Ground
03

Ball Milled

Dried tencha is finely ground in precision ball mills under low temperature, producing an ultra-fine powder with balanced bitterness — just pure, silky matcha.

Jingshan
Our Origin

From the Misty Slopes of Jingshan

Jingshan has been revered for over a thousand years as the birthplace of exceptional tea. Its unique microclimate — cool mists, mineral-rich soil, and gentle mountain slopes — creates the perfect conditions for shade-grown tencha.

We work directly with local farming families who have passed down their cultivation secrets through generations. Every leaf is hand-picked at peak freshness, then slowly stone-ground to preserve its vivid emerald color and delicate umami profile.
